Also check out my FS Utilities Page for some useful utilities and my FS Scenery Page for my scenery files.

Note that all aircraft on this page were designed for FS98 but are FS2000/FS2002 compatible - simply install as for FS98.

  • the Loganair collection - aircraft operated from Glasgow by Loganair

    The Tayside Collection

Tayside scenery - see my FS Scenery Page for this

    Tayside Aviation - the fleet!

Tayside Aviation are based at Riverside Airport, Dundee (Scotland), and are predominantly engaged in flying training through Tayside Flying Club. They have a substantial fleet of aircraft based in Dundee, Perth and Glenrothes (Fife) including numerous Cessna 152s and Diamond Katanas, and several different Piper aircraft. In this archive are six aircraft - Cessna 152, Cessna 152 Aerobat, Diamond Katana, Piper Archer, Piper Warrior and Piper Aztec (since sold by the company), all in the distinctive Tayside Aviation logo.

Download the FS98 version of these six aircraft (252KB file)
Download some pictures of the real and FS98 aircraft (647KB file)

    ScotAirways

ScotAirways (formerly Suckling Airways) operate a service between Dundee and London City daily using a Dornier DO328. Several aircraft have been seen on the route including G-BWWT, G-BYHG, G-BYMK and G-BYHF. The former three aircraft received a special Scottish Suckling livery, with red tartan tail and saltire on the nose, in early 1999. All the Company's aircraft all now sport the new ScotAirways logo. This aircraft includes a corrected version of the visual model for FS2000.

Download the FS98/FS2000 version of this aircraft (167KB file)

    ScotAirways - FS Adventures

Fly a return service from Dundee to London City using the ScotAirways Dornier DO328. These two air traffic control adventures take you on the routes used by the real aircraft operating this service. Custom audio files and instructions are included. Use of the Tayside scenery, Millennium Dome scenery and enhanced London City Airport scenery (see README file) is recommended to get the most out of this adventure.

Download these adventures for FS98/FS2000 (81KB file) - also needed are the ATC sound effects AAFWAV.ZIP available from FLIGHTSIM.COM
These adventures were written for the earlier Suckling Airways aircraft - if using the above ScotAirways aircraft, please load it first and ignore the aircraft initialisation error on running the adventure. Chocks away!

    Palmair Flightline BAe 146-300

Palmair is the tour operating division of Bath Travel who operate a single BAe 146 Whisper Jet from Bournemouth International Airport (UK) to several destinations, mostly in the Mediterranean. This plane flew weekly from Dundee to Majorca during summer 1997.

    The Loganair Collection

Loganair are based at Glasgow Airport, Scotland, and operate a small fleet of small airliners on numerous short routes to and between the Western and Northern Isles of Scotland. Their aircraft now carry British Airways Express colours (Loganair is a BA franchise operator); the aircraft are gradually receiving the new BA "world" colours, including tartan and celtic design tails.

Loganair de Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter

Barra is one of the more interesting airports in Scotland, being the only UK airport on a beach. Flights to the island from Glasgow use this Twin Otter aircraft. The aircraft has not yet received the new BA "world" colours. The files below include a situation file for the beginning of the flight from Glasgow to Barra.

Download the FS95 version of this aircraft (26KB file)
Download the FS98 version of this aircraft (184KB file with improved visual and flight models)

Note that newer versions of this aircraft (not done by me), including moving parts, are available from FLIGHTSIM.COM

Loganair Shorts SD 360 / Pilatus BN2 Islander

Loganair operate several 360s and Islanders on their services. A 360 has been used on the Barra service, but proved unreliable and the Twin Otter was returned to the service. These aircraft each include two liveries, the original BA Express colours and the new "world" colours.

    The Titan Airways Collection

Titan Airways are based at Stansted Airport, UK, and operate charter flights from Stansted, London City and other airports many destinations in the UK and Europe. Their fleet currently comprises two BAe 146s, one Shorts 360, two ATR 42s and one Cessna Citation aircraft. The aircraft used to have a rather dull brown colour scheme with a Greek soldier (Titan), but now have this rather stunning livery with Titan moon logo.
