The Severn Bridges Now compatible with FS2002 and FS2004!

Included are the two bridges across the River Severn - the 1966 Severn suspension bridge, 1996 Severn cable-stayed bridge, the bridge across the mouth of the River Wye, all approach roads and local coastline enhancements (made using Coast-Line-Maker). Features include night lighting on all bridges, a curved deck on the 1966 bridge and correctly curving and sloping approaches to the 1996 bridge. The islands of Flat Holm and Steep Holm (also made using Coast-Line-Maker) further down the Bristol Channel are also included.

Note that installation requires two scenery areas to be enabled and also one redundant file to be deleted (see README for details).

This scenery has been designed for the FS2002 or FS2004 default scenery only - compatibility with other scenery (including photorealistic scenery) has not been tested (although it is believed to work OK).

Thunderbird 6

The second film spin-off from the successful TV series Thunderbirds was Thunderbird 6. In the climax of the film, the giant airship Skyship One crashes onto the top of a high tower, and the passengers must be rescued before it topples off. Thunderbirds 1 and 2 can't get close enough, so Brains effects a rescue using a Tiger Moth biplane, landing on top of the airship. It is given the honorary title of Thunderbird 6!

This package includes Thunderbird 6 skins for PEGMOTH4.ZIP (required - download it from FLIGHTSIM.COM) and landable Skyship One scenery, together with full instructions. My Polyfix utility is also recommended to make some detailing changes to the Tiger Moth.

Scotland Bits Volume 2

This is the second in an intended series of visual scenery add-ons for Scotland for FS98 and FS2000. This volume contains: Note that (for the trees to appear) this scenery requires the generic VOD textures available from FLIGHTSIM's "Must Have Files" index

Space City

Space City is the home base of Fireball XL5, from the British 1960s TV series of the same name, produced by Gerry Anderson. Every week, Fireball XL5 would blast off from Space City for adventures elsewhere in the galaxy, piloted by Steve Zodiac with his crew Venus, Professor Matt Matic and Robert the Robot.
Fellow Scottish academic and Gerry Anderson enthusiast, Austin Tate has developed an MS Flight Simulator vehicle of Fireball XL5, and I have produced Space City scenery to accompany the vehicle. The scenery is a realistic portrayal of Space City, including a rotating control tower and a working curved launch ramp.

Download the Fireball XL5 pack for FS98/CFS/FS2000 (824 KB file) - vehicle by Austin Tate, Space City scenery by Iain Murray (also available here) - note that the Space City scenery is for FS2000/FS2002/FS2004 only.

The Black Rock Desert

The secret lab base for TV's Supercar
Base camp and track for Thrust SSC (plus dynamic vehicle)

In 1959, the Black Rock Desert, Nevada, was the location of Dr. Beaker's secret laboratory where he developed Supercar, a vehicle capable of driving on land, flying at supersonic speeds and even operating underwater. Supercar was the title and star of one of Gerry Anderson's early TV shows, and was driven by heroic test pilot Mike Mercury.
In 1997, the Black Rock Desert, Nevada, was the location of Richard Noble's public attempt to break the land speed record with Thrust SSC, a vehicle designed to break the sound barrier while still touching the ground. Thrust SSC was driven by heroic RAF pilot Andy Green, and on 15th October 1997, he achieved two runs with an average speed of 763.035mph (Mach 1.02) to claim the world land speed record and the first supersonic journey in a land vehicle.
Fellow Scottish academic and Gerry Anderson enthusiast, Austin Tate has developed MS Flight Simulator vehicles of both Supercar and Thrust SSC, and I produced some scenery objects to accompany the vehicles, including a dynamic Thrust SSC.

The Millennium Dome - Version 2 for FS98/FS2000

The Millennium Wheel in FS98       The Millennium Dome in FS2000

Love it or loath it (either as a piece of architecture or a political statement), the Millennium Dome is now part of London's skyline in the Docklands area of the city. It is also very close to the approach to London City Airport, and thus an obvious candidate for addition to the existing London scenery.

The Dome has been built to house a major exhibition which will act as the centrepiece of millennium celebrations in the UK. It opened on 31st December 1999. It is the largest dome in the world, covering over 180 acres; it is 320m in diameter and 50m high with support towers reaching 100m. It cost about £750 million and can hold up to 37,000 people.

This new version (which replaces MILDOME1.ZIP) includes an improved Dome, improved surroundings and the British Airways London Eye (a.k.a. the Millennium Wheel). My Dome also appears in VFR Scenery's "England & Wales" add-on, which was awarded a Bravo Zulu Award 2000 as a finalist in the Best Commercial Scenery Product category by AVSIM Online!

This scenery works as an add-on to:
